Sustainably Simple Elegance in a box
Gemtree Wines, nestled in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia, has long been celebrated for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices. With their dedication to sustainability at the forefront, we approached the design of their Shiraz Bag in Box with a vision to encapsulate the essence of their ethos – sustainable simplicity.
The design journey began with a deep dive into Gemtree's vineyard practices and the characteristics of their Shiraz. This varietal, known for its velvety texture and rich flavors of ripe red cherries and blackcurrants, served as the inspiration for the design direction.
The result is a design that exudes elegance through simplicity. The packaging features clean lines and understated sophistication, reflecting the purity and authenticity of Gemtree's wines. The color palette chosen echoes the rich hues of the Shiraz grapes, with deep and dark colour tones complemented by earthy accents.
