Cucullo Rum

A tribute to the Cucullo firefly

The Cucullo Rum is a grand tribute to something very small — the Cucullo firefly. It was used as a natural light source in lanterns and to control harmful insects in the Caribbean sugarcane fields during the late 1920s.

After extensive travelling across the globe in search of the finest rum the favorite distillery was handpicked and the finest casks selected for the blend. Simultaneously the work on the brand and the packaging was done.

Together with the client we started off with a discovery session to frame the vision and then the artistry began. The final result is a striking bottle of destillated delicacy visible from a distance AND in the dark.
