LET’S GET SERIOUS FOR A PROSECCO
When quality wine importer Domaine Wines Sweden got in touch with us about a prosecco we knew it wouldn’t be to launch ”just another bubbly”.
BUBBLY GOES SOPHISTICATED
Not for Domaine the usual Italian frizzante expression so often seen sporting a hint of orange peel yellow in the label design. No, sir. Ecoltura extra dry organic prosecco with its sophisticated and elegant style deserved a suit to better reflect these qualities. The devil would have to be in the detail here. An ever so slightly different label shape, for instance? Check. A choice of ice bucket-resistant, satiny paper that reflects an impossibly satisfying mother-of-pearl-meets-silver hue? Check. Fine crest detail in part, less detail in others? Check, check, check.
A WHISPER HEARD ABOVE THE SHOUTING
This popular category is a top seller of wine across most of Europe. Grabbing a share of this market means putting up quite a fight — but the fighting talk doesn’t have to be overly dramatic. In the otherwise shouty prosecco shelves, it can be wise to hold back and, as Motherland bore in mind with the design, project a classier, more understated exterior thereby winning style points — which count for more in the long run anyway.
