When the perfumer Linda Landenberg Holst suffered from the disease alopecia, she became aware of the vulnerability that comes with being deviant.

 

”I have always seen myself as a life-affirming and open person and always felt like a part of society. But when I lost my hair, I was verbally attacked and forced to go out with mental protective gear to be prepared for what was to come. People find it so easy to take liberties if someone is deviant," says Linda.


This insight of Linda Landenberg Holst was so strong and she has long wanted to highlight differences as a strength and not a weakness. As a perfumer, she has therefore produced a perfume that celebrates differences and where a significant amount of money from each sold bottle goes to the Rainbow Fund; an organization that fights for people's basic freedom and rights regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity.


In close collaboration with Linda we set sail to create a design that embodies everything she wants to convey. A firework of colours splashed like graffiti in a freethinking design to inspire others to dare to be themselves. It’s the flavour of love.
